We develop and market Analyse-it®, the most popular statistical analysis and charting software for Microsoft® Excel™.

We formed Analyse-it back in 1997 to develop easy-to-use statistical analysis and charting software. Analyse-it®, our flagship product, was launched the same year.

Going back a few years, Analyse-it grew out of a product called Astute, written by one of the co-founders of Analyse-it, Simon Huntington. Astute was the first statistical analysis add-in for Microsoft Excel and was released in 1992, pre-dating the release of even Microsoft’s own Data Analysis Toolpak for Excel 5.

We extensively customised and developed Astute over the following years for two of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies: Astra Hassle (now Astra Zeneca) & Johnson & Johnson (now Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics). It was through experience gained working with these organisations, and the existing Astute users, that we developed Analyse-it. Initially supporting Microsoft Excel 5, 95, and 97, Analsye-it has since supported Excel™ 2000, 2002 &, 2003 and continues to improve, now supporting the new Fluent™ interface and RibbonBar™ of Excel 2007.

Analyse-it is now used by well over 15,000 users all over the world, and is used in businesses ranging from pharmaceutical and diagnostics, to educational, environmental, geological, medical & life scicences. Analyse-it is well respected in the scientific and research community, and is used and cited in thousands of peer-reviewed published papers.

Before developing Analyse-it we amassed over 25 years software development experience, dating back to the start of PC revolution in the early 1980s. We've developed software for all manner of operating systems, from MS-DOS and early versions of Windows, in all manner of programming languages from CISC/RISC assemblers, to C, C++, C# and for Microsoft Excel 4 and later.
