Updating the software
Check that the software is up-to-date and includes all the latest features and bug fixes (including major and minor fixes).
- Ensure that you have an active maintenance.
- Ensure that TCP port 443 (HTTPS) on the firewall is open for communication to secure.analyse-it.com on your computer. Analyse-it uses your internet connection to check for updates.
- Start Microsoft Excel to start Analyse-it.

On the Analyse-it ribbon tab, click Analyse-it, and then click Check for Updates.
The Software Update window opens.

Click Check Now.
The software uses your internet connection to check for updates.

If updates are available:
- Click Download and Install to download and install the update.
- Click Download to download the update for installation later.
When installing an update do not uninstall the existing version. If you do, the license is deactivated, and you must activate the license again before you can use the software.
- Click Close.
