Enabling auto-start with Excel

The most convenient way to start Analyse-it is to make it auto-start with Microsoft Excel. Auto-start can be enabled during installation, or can be manually enabled at any time.

NETWORK  We recommend users sharing concurrent network licences start Analyse-it manually when needed. Auto-starting Analyse-it will mean a licence is taken whenever Microsoft Excel is started, even if Analyse-it is not needed.

To enable auto-start with Excel:

  1. Start Microsoft Excel.
  2. Excel 2007:
    Click Microsoft Office button, click Excel Options, click the Add-ins tab, then click the Go button alongside Manage: Excel add-ons.

    Excel 97, 2000, 2002 & 2003:
    Click Tools on the Excel menu bar, then click Add-ins to show the Add-ins dialog.

  3. Tick Analyse-it in the Add-ins available list to make Analyse-it auto-start with Excel.
  4. Click OK.
