Analyse-it version 6.22.1 Released

Changes, bug fixes and improvements

Installation and licensing

  • Installs per-user, with no administrator rights required. Admins can still force a per-machine install, see https://analyse-it.com/docs/user-guide/installation#deploying
  • Added ability to disable update and license renewal notifications for users through registry settings
  • All licensing now goes through license-server.analyse-it.com
  • New "Analyse-it for Excel" shortcut on the Start menu, which starts Excel with the Analyse-it tab shown
  • Installs the Analyse-it Troubleshooter, which checks the add-in when installation finishes
  • All files are code-signed, so security software such as Windows Smart App Control does not block them

Fixes

  • Fix for bug where Analyse-it ribbon was permanently disabled while editing the worksheet

The download above installs for your Windows account and needs no administrator rights. The .MSI packages are for IT deployment — installing without a user interface, or for everyone who uses a computer — and you must pick the one matching 32- or 64-bit Excel. See deploying the software.
