Releasing a concurrent license
Release a concurrent-use license so others can use the software.
The software releases the license when you close Microsoft Excel, but you can immediately release the license allocated to you if you want to continue using Excel but want to let another user start using Analyse-it.
- Ensure that you have activated the software with a concurrent-user license.
- Ensure that TCP port 443 (HTTPS) on the firewall is open for communication to secure.analyse-it.com on each computer. Analyse-it uses your internet connection to communicate with our license server to manage the concurrent use of the software.
- Start Microsoft Excel to start Analyse-it.

On the Analyse-it ribbon tab, click Analyse-it, and then click Release.
The software connects to our license server and releases the license allocated to you.
Another user can now use the software. If you subsequently use a command on the Analyse-it ribbon tab, a license is acquired for you again.
