Labeling control chart points

Label control chart points to identify them or document causes of special-cause variation.

1. Activate the analysis report worksheet.
2. On the Analyse-it ribbon tab, in the Process Control group, under the Format heading, click Label.
   The analysis task pane Control Chart panel opens.
3. Alongside the Label points check box, select:

   Option	Description
   All	Label all points.
   Out-of-control	Label only points that are out-of-control.

4. In the Label drop-down list, select a variable.
5. Click Recalculate.
